Knights Take Charge!

Grab this opportunity to make changes at UCF by completing The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE).

What is the National Survey of Student Engagement?

It is a brief online survey that asks you what works and what doesn’t at UCF.

Who is invited to participate?

UCF and Dr. Seymour invite all first-year students and senior students graduating in spring or summer 2020 to participate.

Where do I find the National Survey of Student Engagement?

Log into myUCF and navigate to your “To Do List” items. Just click on the link labeled NSSE to take the survey. All first-year students and senior students will get a Knights email in February with a direct link to the survey.

How long will it take to complete the survey?

It will only take about 15 minutes.

How will this information be used?

Your responses will contribute to changes at UCF that will help current and future students. For example, past NSSE responses led to initiatives to support student writing; a critical skill for post-graduation employment.

Are my responses confidential?

Your responses are strictly confidential and no individual’s answers will ever be identified in any report.

How do I know if my survey was submitted?
When you click the “Submit” button at the end of the survey, you will see a “Thank you” message.

Why is the survey still showing up in my "To Do List"? I thought I completed the survey.
The survey link in the “To Do List” may take a week or two to disappear from your list after you submit the survey.
